After release of USB 3.0 Flash drive date transfer is not an issue, but still USB 2.0 Flash drive is leading the market.
Most Users complains about the data transfer speed when copying files from computer to flash drive or Pen drive.
File System: File system of flash drive is play a major role for data transfer speed, we can format our Flash drive on FAT, FAT32, NTFS for work on Microsoft Windows platform.
FAT file system can support less then 4GB for single partition, so if Flash drive is more than 4GB in size, we have only option to choose FAT32, NTFS only.
FAT32 can support up to 32GB for single partition and less then 4GB for single file (You cannot store a 4GB single file on FAT32 formatted drive).
Only advantage for using FAT32, if you are using a Windows 9x system.
NTFS (New Technology File System) support up to 16TB drives.
